Wow. I have been such a slacker, I haven't updated in over 6 weeks! A LOT has happened since the last time I posted, let's see:

I had my 22 week anatomy/anomaly scan done at the hospital. Luckily everything looked great. 10 fingers, 10 toes, perfect heart, liver, etc. THANK GOD! Also, our baby girl is still a girl which I was worried about. She weighed in at a whopping 1lb 2ozs, which is a lot for a 22 weeker! I better prepare myself for the birth! Me and hubby were sooo happy to see our little girl kicking and flipping for the ultrasound and we even caught a glimpse of her face. She is absolutely gorgeous! She has Tom's lips and, god help her, my nostrils lol. I can't wait till I can see her beautiful face in the flesh :)

I returned to my homestate of Florida on March 3, without my husband :( I miss him terribly and he won't be along until April 7th unfortunately because he has to finish work. It's been very difficult to be away from him all this time and I hope this kind of separation never EVER happens again. It's awful!

Lyla Rose is growing and growing and growing!!!! I'm ginormous now at 26 wks 1 day. I had my first appointment with my OBGYN on March 10 who will be delivering my baby and I'm measuring perfectly but I feel HUGE. I have my next doctor appointment on March 24th where I take my dreaded Gestational Diabetes test. Blech! Here's hoping all goes well. Then I get to see my little bean on the ultrasound which is great.

We found a place that is in the community I grew up to move to on May 1st, so that was a massive relief. It is perfect for our family just starting out and its really close to my mom which is good for when my birthing time comes.

I have been doing my hypnobabies every night (I missed a few the first week I was here due to exhaustion) and I feel really confident about having a natural beautiful birth. I just wish June would hurry up already!!!!

Other than that I have just been missing Tom and enjoying the sunshine. The day after he arrives we do our 3d/4d scan to see the little one's face and catch her on camera. I will post a clip as soon as we do! I can't wait to see her little face again, she becomes more and more precious to me with each passing day and I can't wait for her to arrive!!!!!!

I will post my ultrasound and belly pics in another thread b/c it is tricky with multiple pics and text :)

I will try to be better about doing my blog from now on. Preggo brain = totally forgot for a while
